AS i've been meditating upon the Book of Philippians this week, I just found out what a great and mighty Warhead the book of Philippians is in this spiritual war.
I find that this Book encouraged us not only in the prospective of Paul but also in the prospective of the Church of Philippi. In the beginning of the book, Paul speaks about being confident that the works of God would continue to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6)
Then as Paul moves on, he begins to touch on how we should Live.
Philippians 1:21-24
21For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.
As some of you might already know, at one point of time I had the intentions of leaving FCBC to join my brother at his church, as his church has such a wonderful atmosphere and location plus they recieve loads of free stuff (I'm not being materialistic). I know that I could have a much easier walk there as they do not follow much of any vision nor do they see the need for one. However, God led me down to Expo and I went for the G12 Conference and Thanks Be to God! I entered the vision and right at that moment when I was filled with the Holy Spirit, God showed me his reasons for placing me in FCBC.
- To enter the Vision
- To challenge myself to win my 12/144/1728
Also, I knew that its only through Challenges then we truly grow. A Chemistry cannot just plainly teach and expect results, he need to allow his students to try it out for themselves and make their own mistakes before they truly understand.
So right now, I declare that I will not leave FCBC until he who began a good work in me will carry it on to the completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
So lets stop being friends and lets start being Family.
BLESSED AT,
