Nanjing 1973: A mother was stabbed in her abdomen multiple times, as she watched her son get thrown in the air and stabbed up the rear. Crippled with hatred, he wailed. The Japanese left them, with fresh wounds, and blood gushing by the gallons. As the boy made his way to the loving arms of his mother, she undid her blouse and started feeding him. The stab wound on the side of her chest streamed blood, slowly, she lost all conciousness, lying on the sidewalk of a street in Nanjing lifeless with a wounded child in her clamy arms.
True account adapted from the Movie: Nanking
The drive that keeps us, what is it really?
Is it God?
Is it the money in the swiss bank account?
or could it be that latest MacBook Air that you've been wanting to get?
Many of us hold our delight on earthly things, myself even. Yet we live on without knowledge of this stronghold.
Ask God today, LORD! Deliever me from the pits of Hell! Today, release the cloak of darkness from my eyes, help me see beyond the things unseen that the world shall never sway me from the path of rightousness. Allow faith to rise up within me that through this fourty days, lets the scantification work of God take form within our lives! LORD Jesus, I ask you as your Son, Delight in me as thats my Delight in You!
Let there be a reviving work of the Holy Spirit within the Tribe that no longer do we comfort in stagnence and alienation. Let the very basic fire we once had return in the name or Jesus Christ! Be our drive!
Amen
