The Laws
Recently I have been questioned by one of our Brothers from the TWMT cell,
"Why do you still keep hold of the Laws? Didn't Jesus die so that we do not have the laws to hold us back?"
My reply was: "Well, I believe that these laws are good guide lines for us to follow, and these guidelines prevent us from drifting us away from God or into sin."
As I thought about it, the Holy Spirit revealed this to me. Well, its true that we have been set free through the death of Christ. But sin is lawlessness and thus the entire law has been summed-up into one. "Love your neighour as yourself"
Recently also, this struck me on Sunday when I believe that I was set free and was baptised by the Holy Spirit with God's Love. This Love does not only occur every Sunday or whenever we have cell, this Love occurs everyday and that is grace, that this Grace not only allows us to recieve the numbness in our legs every silent reading periods or even the pay re-structuring our bosses have for us, but it happens everyday whenever we take a breath, with every word that you say. God's Love compells us to do the best for him and to strive for much more in his name!
So guys (Leaders included) we live to die, but only to live again however we are only blessed with a limited amount of time. Make use of this time for worship and since its onto the Lord, make it one that he would boast about. God Bless You all, may God make your life a miracle!
